Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 apple, diced
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Combine the oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, chia seeds, vanilla, and salt in a jar or bowl.
- Stir thoroughly until the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least six hours.
- In the morning, stir the oats and loosen with a splash of milk if they are too thick.
- Divide between two bowls or jars.
- Top with diced apple and chopped walnuts just before serving.
